Windows 10 – Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) icons not – Microsoft Community – MiniTool News

I have done a repair locally and online but microsoft office 2016 icons not showing correctly windows 10 free has failed. This situation is extremely exasperating as i cannot seem to find rhyme or reason for this.

Office I have found elements of Office 16 in Root directory which i wanted to remove as well but how do i do so if this toll cannot even see residual files from the newer office version? Correectly then installed Office However if I create a new folder on the desktop shhowing move this file into the folder, the file regains its icon! The same is observed if i move the blank file from the desktop to Documents or anywhere else.

Microsoft office 2016 icons not showing correctly windows 10 free. May 3 Office 16 icons (Outlook, Excel, Word, P) desktop and taskbar icons all change

After uninstalling and rebooting, it went back to regular res. My ribbon bar icons are pixelated. In my case it was a second monitor to which I had extended the desktop. Colour quality for this monitor was accidentily set to 8 bit. As soon as I changed it to 32 bit in the display properties the pixalated Office icons disappeared. When I deactivate the driver in the device manager, the pixcelated icons in the ribbon returned normal!!

I have windows 10 and office When i open the explorer and on the desktop, all files that are office types dont show up with their normal icon, rather they are a white generic page.
